Capa Cero Economic Protocol

What Economic Protocol does today

CEP's operating contract: what the protocol does today and how to follow discovery → settle clearly.

Operating flow

Each unit of work follows the same path. It settles when the balance is sufficient; when it is not, settle explicitly returns 402.

discover → conditions → quote → balance_check → pay_or_swap → authorize → execute → settle → audit

Protocol layers

Protocol layers ready to operate in Phase 1 with a prepaid ledger.

  • Discovery — Catalog of economic resources (APIs, models, compute and workflows).
  • Pricing — Per-unit-of-work quotes with rates and protocol fees.
  • NSR prepaid — Prepaid balances avoid one on-chain transaction for every call.
  • Router — Provider selection by price, SLA, latency, reputation and policies.
  • Execution — Authorization, charge, execution and result bound to a work unit ID.
  • Settlement — Double-entry records plus batch settlement; chain = EXTERNAL.
  • Audit — Replay protection, logs, fraud controls, reputation and verifiable evidence.

Supported assets

NSR · USDC · USDT · BNB

Next step

Open the workspace to view the catalog and prepaid balance. With sufficient balance, settlement completes; when the balance is insufficient, settle returns 402. The industrial specification lives at docs/economic-protocol/.

Phase 1 prioritizes prepaid settlement and internal audit. Nodo Sur, NSR swaps, multichain and SDKs activate with verifiable external evidence.
